Introduction

Marking offline payments one by one can be tedious and time-consuming, especially when dealing with high volumes of transactions. To streamline this process, institutes can now use the bulk upload feature to mark multiple offline payments at once by uploading data files.

This not only saves time but also reduces manual errors and ensures smoother payment data management. This feature is especially helpful for institutes getting started on the platform mid-session, where there’s often a need to mark previously collected payments.

Before proceeding, please ensure that your institute has subscribed to the Bulk Offline Upload feature and that your user account has the necessary permissions to access and use it.

The brief steps that need to be followed to mark bulk offline payments are as follows.

1. After clicking on Mark Offline Payment, select the Bulk Payment option to begin the bulk upload process.
2. Review the sample file to understand the required format for entering new records or updating existing ones. And then prepare your data file accordingly by entering the relevant details for each record under the respective fields. To learn more about what details need to be entered, refer to this article.
3. Once the file is uploaded, you will be redirected to the Upload Logs page, where you can monitor the status of your upload.
4. On the Upload Logs page, you can view how many records were successfully inserted or updated, how many failed, and the reasons for any failed entries can be found by downloading the failed file.
5. After successful processing, the uploaded transactions will appear in Track Payments with the payment status as “Approved.”
6. These updates will also be reflected in the Applicant Profile, Payment Ledger, and Payment Dashboard pages to ensure consistency across the platform.
