In this guide, we’ll walk you through the fee configuration process, starting with how to connect Enrollment Cloud and Collexo so you can efficiently manage and automate your fee collection.
1. Connecting with Collexo
The first step is to connect Enrollment Cloud with Collexo. This is crucial as it enables Collexo to exchange the relevant information for fee configuration.
Navigate to: Menu → Manage Accounts → Integration
On the Integration page, click on Connect against Meritto. Enter your Client Code when prompted and press Continue to complete the process. Once completed, you’ll be able to view the API Domain and Client Code.
2. Add Fee Head
The next step is adding Fee Heads. A Fee Head is used to define and organize various types of fees such as registration fees, application fees, or token fees. Explore our guide on setting up Fee Heads to learn more.
3. Add Workflow
Workflows are crucial for automating the assignment of application or token fees. They allow you to define various fee details, such as fee components and amounts, for students/applicants based on predefined rules or conditions. These conditions are typically based on the fields of the application form, ensuring that the right fees are assigned based on specific applicant information. This automation not only reduces manual effort but also guarantees consistency and accuracy. Refer to this article to learn how to create workflows for Enrollment Cloud.
4. Configure Fee Connect
After configuring workflow and fee heads, the next step is to create a Fee Connect and associate it with a workflow. Fee Connect allows you to define additional details such as the fee collection dates, payment modes, late fees, discounts and more. This ensures a comprehensive and seamless setup for fee collection. Refer to this article to understand how to configure Fee Connect effectively.
5. Configure fees on Meritto
After configuring Fee Connect on Collexo, the final step is to set up the fees within Meritto. On the Fee Manager page, select “Collexo” as the Fee Config Type, choose the relevant application form under Form Name, and select the Fee Connect configuration created earlier from the Fee Type dropdown. Then, choose the appropriate Email, SMS, and Acknowledgement Receipt templates from their respective dropdowns.
Conclusion
Once all these steps are completed, you're ready to collect application or token fees from your applicants through the enrollment cloud. With your fee configuration in place, your institution is now ready to seamlessly collect application and token fees within Meritto’s Enrollment Cloud. This setup enhances operational efficiency, ensures a smooth payment experience for applicants, and supports your teams in driving successful enrollment outcomes.
