Overview
Our recent updates now provide you with more options than ever when it comes to configuring partial payments for your fees.
In addition to setting a minimum amount for partial payments, you can now define the exact percentages for each partial payment allowing you to define dynamic payment amounts for your applicants. Furthermore, you have the option to specify a payment range, allowing you to control both the minimum and maximum amounts applicants can pay, providing more flexibility in managing payments.
Available Partial Payment Options
For utilizing partial payments, you need to first ensure that partial payment is enabled for the fee.
There are 3 partial payment options available:-
By Minimum Amount
This option is useful for your institute if you'd like to set a minimum amount for partial payments.
Selecting this option would work as partial payments used to work earlier, i.e. you would be required to select the Maximum Number of Transactions for the fee (note that you'd be able to edit as long as no payments for the fee come) along with setting a minimum amount.
By Range
This option is recommended if you'd like to set an upper amount limit on the partial payments that your applicants do in addition to the lower cap that is available in the "By Minimum Amount" partial payment option.
After selecting this option, you'd be required to define an amount range within which you'd like your applicants to make payments.
By Percentage
This option would benefit you if you were looking for an option for dividing the fees by percentages. This would work for all applicants that are eligible for the fees and each applicant's total amount gets split into the number of percentages defined for the fees.
After selecting this option, you'd be required to define a percentage for each partial payment.
